The sultanate consider is also the first in the Gulf Region and third in the East in adopting this sport and this type of agreement is the first of its kind in the history of the Paralympic Committee which is to apply the fields of a genuine strategic partnership aims to achieve the sustainable development of football sport for the blind so that the parties to work together in establishing the sport in Oman and the development of administrative systems and provide a training environment to improve the artistic level and skills for athletes in preparation for the composition of the Sultanate. Also this convention requires working together to organize local competitions, to prepare for international posts as possible in addition to conduct workshops overseen by international experts to qualify the Omani cadres in training, arbitration and classification.
